The MS-06D Zaku Desert Type is a mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ and is a Mobile Suit featured in Knights of the Multiverse Season 2. One of many variants of the original MS-06F Zaku II - this one obviously for desert-based combat - it is a series of mass-produced mobile suits, many of these units were redeployed by Axis Zeon forces during their conquest of the Multiverse.

- Vulcan Guns
Unique among Zaku II's, the Desert Types have two Vulcan machine guns mounted in its head unit.
- Shoulder Shield
Mounted on the Desert Type's right shoulder, it is a simple defense used to block most physical projectiles.
- SA-712 Cracker Grenade
The Cracker Grenade is essentially a Mobile Suit-sized hand grenade. Up to two of them can be stored in each compartment on both of the Desert Type's hip armor.
- M-120AS 120mm Machine Gun
A machine gun developed for the Zaku Desert Type. Changes from the normal model used by other Zaku II varients include shortened barrel and stock, and the omission of the scope. Its handling properties are improved through the reduction in weight.
- 3-tube Missile Launcher
A small missile launcher attached to the Desert Type's left forearm.
- P-3 2-tube Rocket Launcher
- Hand Grenade
A throwing weapon used an alternative to the Cracker Grenade. These waist mounted grenades can be thrown like regular grenades and set to detonate upon impact with the target or timed to explode after a preset time. They come in multiple variants, allowing them to perform different roles in battle.
