Not to be confused with L.O.S.R.'s kinder ice-skating Battle Droid, Zagam.
Zadam is a character from Android Kikaider: The Animation and is a minor antagonist in Knights of the Multiverse Season 1. He's a Droid created by Dr. Hakai of the L.O.S.R. organization, but is a rather bizarre one, as he's made to look like some sort of demon, with two heads, three legs and a large pair of bat-like wings. He and his brother Shadow Knight were assigned to destroy Drum after she joined the Crystal Knights.
Personality[]
While he might have been built with two heads, Zadam only possesses a single mind and personality. However, that mind isn't a particularly bright one, as he's the type of fighter that prefers to rush into battle & annihilate his enemies rather than make small talk or even threaten/tease them. However, he does have some sense of self-control, as he will heed his brother's orders to the letter, including to hold off on when they will attack.

Zadam has a pair of giant red bat-like wings that he uses to fly.
- Tridents
Zadam's main weapons are a pair of golden tridents that he uses to fight at close range.
- Trident Beams
- Zadam is able to fire elecric blasts from the tips of either his tridents.
- Seperation Attack
Zadam is able to separate his body - his heads, torso, lower torse & thighs, arms and legs - to attack an enemy from several directions via rocket boosters built into each limb.

Even with their contrasting demeanors, Zadam at least appears on friendly terms with his more "normal-looking" brother, following all of his orders to the letter.

Zadam doesn't really care about who or what Drum is. All he really cares about is following his creator's orders and destroy her; though he does want to see if she'll put up a good fight.

Similarly to Shadow Knight, in the live-action Kikaider 01 series, Zadam was a major player, acting as SK's replacement as the second in command of the original series' main antagonistic force, SHADOW. However, whereas SK was "demoted" to villain of the week instead of right-hand man, Zadam already had this happen to him when he appeared in Kikaider 01 the Animation, only appearing in the beginning of the third episode of the series (though admittely, his portrayal here could be seen as a "promotion" since he acts as the main antagonistic force of the episode he appears in).
- The rivalry he had with SK in the live action series has been changed to make them another "big guy, skinny guy" duo, much like how Giran and Dokaider are portrayed in this series.
In his appearance in the anime adaptation, Zadam's tridents were made into spears rather than the three-pronged weapons he used in the live action series. Here, he has the three-pronged versions of the weapons once again (mostly because it acts as an excuse to give Drum a trident weapon).
