The Multiverse

This page is a footnote, made to explain some of the science/supernatural phenomena/minor details seen throughout the series, The Knights of the Multiverse.

Access

Most alternate worlds can be accessed by dimensional portals that started to appear at random after the defeat of the Heralds of Unicron, and since then, have appeared frequently throughout all number of worlds, sometimes sucking a single person or entire group of people into different worlds. The only way to open/access portals remotely is by Dimensional Scissors, magical scissors created on Mewni. After the formation of The Crystal Knights, they're also able to link their own pairs of Dimensional Scissors to a collection of Warp Pads that can transport large groups to worlds that they've already visited and, after scanning someone's "dimensional make-up" on their Dimensional Scanner. They also created Communicators to locate and, well, communicate with team members located on other worlds.

Progression of Time

While on most alternate worlds time progresses as others, there is the rare occasion where time will proceed differently, either by going ahead a few days or being slower by multiple weeks or months.
