Not to be confused with God Sigma, Asuka Langley Soryu's primary Mecha for the majority of the series.
SIgma is a character from the Iczer Series and is a major antagonist around the end of Knights of the Multiverse Season 1. She was created by Dr. Neos to aid the League of Scientific Renegades in their bid for global conquer and, more importantly, destroy her treacherous "sister" Atros and the Crystal Knights.
In Season 3, she was recreated using Black Lady's magic and some remains of Unicronian technology and with her Photon Power Core being converted into Getter Rays to battle the Knights once more as a part of the Guild of the Multiverse.
Personality[]
All Sigma cares about is her drive to fight and kill. Virtually all simulated emotions that Atros's electronic brain possessed has been completely deleted, leaving Sigma as a heartless, ruthless killing machine, even by Battle-type Droid standards. She values power above all else, and thus is extremely cruel and arrogant. She has no respect for the weak, or anyone of lower status, including those among the organization and the scientists that created her, whom she will ruthlessly destroy whenever they get in her way or they fail a mission on account of being "soft" or the like. For the most part, Sigma tries to remain calm and somber even when things seem to get drastic, but she does still have a bit of a temper when favor is not on her side, and like her sister, tends to get annoyed when somebody interrupts her battles, often blasting right through them on the spot, no matter who it is.
History[]
Animated Short #4[]
Around the end of the short, Sigma appears with Blade and Orgun by her side. As the Crystal Knights gather around to take the three on, Sigma snaps her fingers, triggering Gigantis's awakening. Upon the giant breaking free, the trio ascended into the air to let Gigantis do its work.
Season 1[]
Long into the Renegades' conflict with the Crystal Knights, Dr. Neos "discovered" that she had made a fatal flaw in programming Atros: she had too much of a conscious. In addition to her repeated failures in destroying Sailor Moon, she had started to act on more "personal feelings" like wanting to fight Sailor Moon for her own selfish pleasure, and she had seemingly even started to question her purpose as a weapon. Thus, with her joining forces with the Knights, Neos deemed her a failure and sought to create a new Droid; one that would only having feelings of anger, wrath and lust for destruction.
Season 3[]
Powers & Equipment[]
As she is based off of Atros's abilities, Sigma thusly has all of Atros's powers, though modified from Atros's design to be stronger:
- Flight
Sigma is able to fly at incredible speeds, nearly reaching the speed of light, appearing as a streak of green light.
- Beam Sabers
Sigma is armed with two beam sabers based off of those used by the Gundams, both emitting a strong, yellow laser powered by Photon Beams. They're surprisingly strong too, able to hold back the Zeta Gundam's beam saber and slice through most metals with ease.
- Photon Beam(s)
Sigma can fire bursts of Photon Energy from her hands via a red glass-bulb mechanism on each hand that draw energy directly from her Photon Core and release it in the form of beams. However, she can fire beams from the tips of her fingers.
- Electric Bursts
In addition to firing Photon Beams, Sigma's hand mechanisms allow her to release huge bursts of electricity. Her favorite way of using this is by grabbing her enemies by the throat and releasing the volts throughout their body.
Season 3 Powers[]
All of Sigma's Photon-based powers have been replaced with Getter Rays.
- Getter Beam
- Getter Bomb
Relationships[]
Dr. Neos[]
Sigma refers to Dr. Neos as her mother, indicating that she has some amount of respect for her.

V3[]
Sigma just sees V3 as a hunk of useless junk.

Notes[]
In the source material, Sigma was simply called Iczer 2, In KotM, she's been given the name of the robot she piloted in the first OVA to give her a more "dynamic" name (also since they're never actually referred to as "Iczers" in this series).
Going off of the inspirations this series takes from Tokusatsu, if Atros's story is influenced by Hakaider, then Sigma's depiction could be seen as being inspired by Shadow Moon from the Kamen Rider franchise, a "rival"-type character that is completely cold & merciless that's obsessed with destroying their counterpart on the allied side and anyone else foolish enough to stand in their way, made all the more dangerous for possessing powers similar to their aforementioned counterpart and then some.
"Sigma's" dynamic with Atros in this series is based off of her relationship with Iczer One in official Iczer media, seeing as how they're the only two "Iczers" featured in this series; however, she's meant to maintain her status as a villain and doesn't join her sister like she did in Iczer Three, maintaining her position as the rival out for blood & nothing else compared to Atros's "redeemable rival" character arc. This also acts as a bit of a contrast to their home series, where the only "interaction" the two have was when Atros saw her body being constructed (this scene is featured in KotM, btw, acting as one of the final nails in the coffin that triggers Atros to finally join Usagi and the Knights).
