Rosy (formerly Sophie II) is a character from Uchu Majin Daikengo and is a major supporting character in The Knights of the Multiverse, introduced in Season 1. An android made in the image of her creator Dr. Bernard's daughter of the same name, she was taken in by The Knights after he died in a battle with his former employers, L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N., where she went on to help them in their battles.

Personality[edit | edit source]
Rosy was created with the same personality as the child she was created to represent: she's kind, loving, and cares greatly about those around her. She's soft-spoken with her small voice, but determined when it counts. She was also incredibly nervous and scared at first, never being in a life-threatening scenario before, but she is still nonetheless very brave, even taking out her dagger and fighting off her father's attackers without having used it once.
After her father's death, she fell into a short period of depression, brought on by a belief that her father might have still been alive if she wasn't born and Sophie were still alive, not leaving her room for a whole day or consuming any energy. But thankfully, her newfound friends in the Knights were able to break her out of it, and since then, she's become a much more determined fighter. She is still very nervous about most situations and often doesn't speak her mind, even when she vehemently disagrees with a superior's decision, but she will still do her best to help out her new family, whether it be as simple as a group project around the Knightly Inn or helping them face down an incredible threat.
History[edit | edit source]
Pre-Series[edit | edit source]
Rosy, or rather Sophie II, was created in the exact image of Dr. Bernard's daughter after she was killed in an avalanche during the previous year's winter, only with her skin being made up of Super Alloy Z rather than the normal artificial skin used by most androids to protect her from the elements and anything else that could harm her. The two lived in relative peace, though Bernard would sometimes get frustrated with her when she started to act more independent, even going so far as to hit her when she spoke out of turn or did something he knew the original Sophie would never do.

Skills & Armaments[edit | edit source]
To ensure that he wouldn't lose another daughter, Bernard equipped Rosy a handful of means of defending herself:
- Enhanced Strength and Stamina
Rosy has the standard android super strength and is able to jump long distances.
- Super Alloy Z Body
To make sure she wouldn't face as brutal a fate as Sophie, Bernard created Rosy's body using Super Alloy Z, the same metal Mazinger Z was constructed from, to make her body incredibly durable and strong (this is also why she wasn't given any artificial skin, aside from her face). Her armor can resist high-caliber bullets and lasers, bladed weapons, corrosives, extreme temperatures & pressures, and even block beam sabers (well, small ones at the very least) without sustaining any major damage. However, she can still be heavily damaged by more high-powered weapons, like something akin to Mazinger's Breast Fire. Her dress is also made of a type of unknown indestructible material, only tearing up after long amounts of pressure/damage.
Rosy has a dagger stored in her lower right leg for close-range self-defense. It's a surprisingly strong little blade too, able to cut through a Cyclopian Guard almost like butter, and can fire energy blasts when it glows a light blue, either in the form of a simple laser or release a wave of energy when she swings it. To finish off her enemies, Rosy will usually stab her opponents (most of the time in the back or the shoulder) and will then release an enormous blast, piercing right through them.
Combo Attacks[edit | edit source]
- Moon Tiara/Dagger Action
Rosy and Usagi combine their Dagger and Moon Tiara Boomerang.
Relationships[edit | edit source]
Like a number of her android sisters on the team, as her creator/father, Rosy does care a great deal about Dr. Bernard, even with his outbursts about her being a robot. Maybe its just because of her programming, but she was still extremely loyal to him, to the point that she risked her life to try and find the Knights to try and help him.
However, after his death and the Knights taking her in, she finally accepted that the way he treated her wasn't right, and decided to move past him.
Though she never met her (for obvious reasons), Rosy thinks of Sophie as her older sister. All the data her father had on her is stored in her memory banks, and from the files alone, she felt that she was a genuinely good person, and is even somewhat honored to be have been made in her image.
Ayako[edit | edit source]
Ayako was the first member of the team to try and help Rosy after her father's death. After hearing her stories about all the abuse she took from Kyoka, the stories about how Genmu would give her advice and take care of her, and how alone she felt at first when both of them were killed in battle. Like many other duos on the team, the two grew close, with Rosy seeing her as an older sister, with Ayako helping her to train with her dagger or just pulling her away from the group to show her a fun time.
As two of the youngest members of the team, Rosy and Usagi get along very well.
Emily[edit | edit source]
Rosy and Lorelai quickly became friends over their shared histories, like the loss of their fathers, their expectations for them, and their desire to pay L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. back for taking them away. However, Rosy soon grew to be a little envious of her relationship with her father, and how much it just sounded so much better than her and her own father's relationship (most likely because Lorelai wasn't meant to replace someone).
Atros[edit | edit source]
Rosy and Android Keiko bonded quickly thanks to their shared histories of being made in the image of another person.
As the evil who took her father from her, Rosy has a strong hatred for the evil organization.

Notes[edit | edit source]
Rosy maintains most of her story from her original Daikengo series appearance; however, the ending to her origin story is changed significantly. In the original show, she was destroyed when she took a laser meant to kill the original Bernard. It also turned out that she had a set of documents stored inside her containing Bernard's blueprints of a device that would save their colony from an Ice Age, which were still miraculously intact. But in a twist of events, she's actually the one who was to be shot by the villain of the episode she first appears in, and Bernard jumps in front of her and takes the blast, claiming that he couldn't bare the thought of losing another daughter. In fact, like many of her android brothers and sisters in the series, her near invulnerable skin (which is partially inspired by Marvel's Luke Cage's unbreakable skin) is in of itself a juxtaposition of her fate in the original, based off of the idea that her father wanted to make her as invulnerable as he could so he wouldn't lose his little girl again.
She was also called "Roscarl" in the original Daikengo (or "Roscàl" in the Italian dub), but its been simplified down to, well ,"Rosy", in KotM to make it sound a little less... strange.
Her dagger emerges from her leg similarly to Robocop's pistol in the series, rather than in the original Daikengo where it simply emerged from a beam of light (most likely as a way to save money on animation). Its ability to fire energy blasts is also inspired by another dagger, Sailor Uranus's Space Sword and its Space Sword Blaster, as well as to give her a type of a sort-of ranged attack.
It should be stressed that Rosy's dagger and super-strong armor do not make her classify a battle android. She is simply a standard-type 'droid with self-defense protocols.
