The MRX-009 Psyco Gundam is a mech from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam and is a transformable mobile armor/mobile suit seen in Knights of the Multiverse Season 2. After being retrieved and repaired by scouts for the Injustice Regime, Glemy Toto used it in an attempt to destroy the Crystal Knights. It was piloted in the series by Puru Two. The suit's schematics were then copied by the Regime to create their mass-produced Destroy Gundam units.

Armaments[]
- Psycommu System
A Psycommu is a device that connects directly into the user's thoughts, through which the user can manipulate the mobile suit by using his/her thoughts. In essence, a psycommu system works by passively scanning a newtype's brainwaves, amplifying them in order to send the brainwave signal out long distances, and then translating these brainwaves into raw machine codes upon being received by the selected object with limitations.
- Anti-beam Barrier
The Psyco Gundam is fitted with an anti-beam barrier for better protection against beam attacks.
- Shield
In addition to the beam barrier, the Psyco has a shield to protect it from ballistic/other beam weapons. In Mobile Fortress mode, the shield splits in half and are placed on its lower sides, stabilizing to stabilize it when in flight.
- Small Mega Beam Cannon
Two small beam cannons are mounted in the center of the head's V-fin.
- Beam Cannon
Each of the Psyco's fingers contain a beam cannon, all of which are capable of doing serious damage.
- Diffuse Mega Particle Cannon
Three diffuse mega particle cannons are housed in the Psyco Gundam's abdomen. They each emit multiple energy beams that can easily destroy an enemy unit in one shot.
Notes[]
The Psyco Gundam is meant to take the place of the Psyco Gundam Mk-II in the original storyline for Gundam ZZ, though it also acts as a way to sort of tie elements from the original Zeta Gundam anime into the timeline of the New Translation movies. For those unaware, in the second half of the original anime, the Psyco Gundam and its original pilot Four Murasume return after presumably dying earlier only to... die/be destroyed for real... But since the Psyco did legit "survive" in its original home series, that means that it could very well still be sitting in the ocean in that version of the Universal Century. And because the episode the Psyco Mk-II appeared in wasn't included in the NT movies, that leaves the original model to fill in its place.
