Nita is a character from Casshern Sins and is a minor recurring character in The Knights of the Multiverse, introduced in Season 1. She's a child-type Droid that was seemingly discarded . Thankfully though, she would be saved from scrap by Iris's group, and later returned to her "parental units" with the help of the Crystal Knights.

Personality[]

As she was still relatively recently created, Nita is still quite young mentally speaking, leaving her a fragile being who enjoys being around others and happiness. Unlike the other Droids around her in the scrapyard she was sent to, she was extremely afraid of death - slowly rusting away into nothingness and going offline. But all the tales the members of her community would tell of their original homes would make her all the more curious about the outside world, and thusly only worsen her fear of death for never being able to experience them when she's so young and about to die. When experienced with ruin or the thought of it she would tremble in fear and turn to any option to escape her fate. Thankfully for her though, being saved from such a fate by Iris's crew and the Knights and returning her home have made her much happier.

History[]

Pre-Series[]

Nita was originally constructed & brought online just a few months before her first appearance, where she was bought by a childless couple. The three of them became a very loving family unit, with her mother even knitting her a long, colorful scarf. However, after only a couple of months with them, her mother would finally receive news that she finally had a bun in the oven. The three talked it over and Nita agreed to be deactivated, her memories & other features reset, and handed to a family that would need her just as they had needed her before. After a tearful goodbye with her parents, she was deactivated and handed off to a collector to be taken away. Unfortunately, they didn't know that said collector was one that "took care of" Droids by just discarding them in junkyards so they could rust away and die. Thankfully for Nita though, it would only be about a week or so before her deactivated body was discovered by a roaming Sphinx, who reactivated her and took her back to her companions. When she told the rogue Droids her plight, Iris promised to return the young Droid to her parents.

Season 1[]

Season 3[]

Skills[]

  • Slightly Enhanced Strength

As she was simply made to act as a child, while Nita is able to lift heavy things a little easier than a normal human her "age", she can't lift much.

Relationships[]

Parent Units[]

Nita loves her parents very much. She also didn't hold any resentment towards them nor any fault they might have had in her being sent to the scrapyard.

Iris, Magneto & Sphinx[]

The Knights[]

Notes[]

Nita's story in this series gives her a much happier ending than it did in the original Casshern Sins. There, she was among the group of robots that attempted to devour the titular hero, Casshern, in order to gain eternal life, but failed as Casshern slaughtered all of them. Thankfully here, she's spared from such a fate, and even given a new home. Her inclusion also gives the series a chance to explore another type of Droid, one made specifically to be a child for childless couples (and had a very open, loving connection with their "parent units", to boot) - an idea that would be expanded on by other characters like Lulli and Honey Jr..
