The Neo Kikaiju (Japanese term for "Mechanical Monsters") are a group of robots from Getter Robo G and are monstrous Super Robots featured in Knights of the Multiverse Season 1. Under the command of a group of scientists headed by Dr. Burai, they are a group of monster-esque Super Robots created by the evil organization L.O.S.R. that are modeled after the Kikaiju created by the "legendary" Dr. Hell in an attempt to destroy the New Photon/Saotome Labs.
Tekkouki is a Kikaiju that acts as the "leader" of the pack. Its appearance and weapons are ripped off from heavily inspired by the Getter Robo robots.
Personality[]
Tekkouki is one of the only Neo Kikaiju that possesses a personality. His in particular is one that believes he's the superior model to his brothers and sister, to the point where he tries to make himself out to be the group's leader, "leading the charge" as it were when they attacked the New P/S Labs. He also desired a match with Getter Robo itself, a sort of after-effect of being constructed with weapons modeled directly off of it. This did lead to a mixture of dissapointment and anger when he went against D2, which he percieved as a knock off (which is pretty rich, coming from him).

Tekkouki has a horn adorned on its head that can absorb most beam attacks directed at it.

Main article: Amalgamated Kikaiju
Notes[]
The Neo Kikaiju was originally referred to as "Hyakki Robots" that were used by the Hyakki Empire, combining their last five robots in one last desperate assault on mankind. But, since the Hyakki Empire doesn't exist in this series, its name obviously had to be changed, and to tie them into the lore of KotM a bit more and to explain their monster-like appearances, the parallels to Dr. Hell's creations was made. This point is taken even further with them being created for the sole purpose of destroying the New Photon Labs, just like the old Kikaiju tried to do with the old Photon Labs.
Story-wise, the reason for their inclusion is mostly to show how tough Mazinger Z is even after a decade of service timeline-wise. It also serves to show how strong the Knights have become over the course of the season, both in terms of their individual strengths and their bonds as a group.
