Lilulu is a character from Doraemon: Nobita and the Steel Troops and is a major character in The Knights of the Multiverse, introduced in Season 1. She's a gynoid created by the evil organization L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. and was built in the appearance of a teenage girl to infiltrate the Crystal Knights and eliminate them from the inside. However, she was severely injured in a battle with the Knights and one of the organization's robots, and was taken in by the Knights to be repaired. She had lost all of her memory files, and so joined the Knights to recover her lost memories.

Personality

As shown in flashbacks, before being damaged, Lilulu was cold and showed no emotion (even though she was already programmed with the capacity to), only focused on her mission to find the Knights.

However, due to the damage she sustained to her cranial area, her personality did a complete flip, with her becoming a lot more human-like. A blank slate upon being reactivated, she has a childlike innocence to her, being generally kind to almost anyone and being very naive (but really, what robot who joins the Knights isn't at first?). As she spends more time with the other Knights, she's developed a strong sense of justice and for deciding what is right and wrong, becoming very selfless, brave and kindhearted. She's also incredibly protective of her newfound family and friends and will often risk her own life to protect them from harm, getting very serious when someone at least appears to be threatening one of them.

About a quarter of the way into Season 1, when she finally discovers the true reason she was created, she has a nervous breakdown, paralyzed by how she was made to kill the only family she's ever known. She even sits on the sidelines for a few episodes to contemplate the real meaning for her existence, whether she was her own person or if she was just supposed to be a simple tool of war.

Notes

Lilulu 86 & 11 versions

Fanart of both of Lilulu's designs.

To tie Lilulu's designs from both the '86 and '11 closer together, she normally has her more colorful, blue eyes in normal conversation, but they shift to her original design's green, more robotic-looking eyes when she's in a fight, indicating a "combat/defense mode" of sorts.
