The AMX-RX-066 Gundam Epyon is a mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing and is a mobile suit featured in Knights of the Multiverse Season 2. It was created by Axis Zeon, able to change its form into a Mobile Armor resembling a two-headed dragon and is piloted by Shinji Ikari. It was designed to "eschew cowardly long-range weapons in favor of chivalrous close combat" (though the way Shinji used it would put that mindset into question).

Season 2[]
Armaments[]
- Transformation
The Epyon is able to transform into a mobile armor mode resembling a mythological dragon for high-speed flight and cruising in space.
- Search Eye
Mounted on the chest, the Epyon has a special device it uses to gather data that its cameras and antennae cannot.
- Epyon Claw
Mounted on the forearms, the Epyon has a set of claws that are primarily meant to be used as landing gear in MA Mode, although they can also be used to tear through enemy armor in close combat.
- Epyon Shield
A small shield mounted on the Epyon's left arm, with a surface has been treated with an anti-beam coating to provide protection against beam attacks. It mounts a heat rod at the bottom.
- Heat Rod
- A segmented whip-like chain housed in Epyon's shield. It can be used to trip or entangle opponents, and heat up to cut through enemy Mecha with ease. A single swipe with this weapon can destroy up to three standard Mechs at once.
- Beam Sword
The Epyon's primary weapon is a powerful green Beam Saber, connected directly to the suit's powerplant via a cord as opposed to running on its own internal power source. This allows the length and the intensity of the beam's blade to be adjusted according to the situation, and at maximum level, it can inflict damage severe enough to destroy objects as large as battleships.

Notes[]
The Epyon was put into the series because, aside from its awesome design, it's to represent the dark path Shinji has taken, and how he's now letting his anger at how the world treated him slowly consume him. Plus, its somewhat metatextual with him taking on the appearance of a Mecha that somewhat resembles a dark angel (at least in robot mode, though the dragon MA mode could also be work as another way to show rage) after fighting so many "Angels" in his home dimension.
Like the other Axis Gundams, the Epyon's original designation, OZ-13MS, has been changed. However, unlike many others, Epyon's number has been changed completely to a number alluding to the infamous "666" number in another tie to its dark angel-like figure and the aforementioned dark path for Shinji, though it's been reduced to sixty-six so the analogy isn't quite so on the nose.
