The Groizer X Squadron is a group of robots from Mazinger Edition Z: The Impact! that are featured Super Robots seen in Knights of the Multiverse Season 1. Designed to resemble large bomber aircraft, they are a group of four machines developed by Dr. Aero of the evil organization L.O.S.R. to either serve as aerial bombers or to as transport units for the organization's other weapons, appearing in the skies to drop them off on the battlefield.
In the penultimate episode of the season, they were used in a plot to bomb four national monuments as a distraction for the Crystal Knights so Sigma could attack their main "residence", the Glomar, and kidnap the Droid Cynthia for more sinister plans.

The Groizer X units were seen about halfway through the short, with X9, 10 and 11 bombing the street most of the Crystal Knights were on.

Units[]
Each of the Groizer X units have a few set abilities:
- Thunder Strike
Each Groizer X model has two antennae on its head that fire powerful bolts of lightning.
- Missile Bombardment
Each Groizer X model is armed with multiple missiles, usually stored in their wings or main body.
However, each unit has at least one unique feature in their design:
Groizer X9[]
- Super Speed
X9 excels in speed, able to fly at speeds close to Mach 3.
Groizer X10[]
- Additional Missiles
X10 is armed with much more ammunition than the other models, with laser gatling-gun ports on both wings, missiles housed in underneath the thrusters, and multiple explosives that fall from a port located in its main body.
Groizer X11[]
- Missiles
Unlike the other Groizer models, X11 is armed only with by the four large missiles stored in its wings.
- Giant Hands/Bendable Wings
Unique to X11, it has two giant hands on the ends of its wings in order to deal with close combat. It can even bend its wings to grab/punch oncoming enemies.
Groizer X12[]
X12 is the only model to have a robot form. It also isn't armed with individual missiles like the other Groizer units.

The reason behind the X12's lack of abilities is because its entire body is actually made up entirely of explosives, and as a last ditch move, it folds its limbs in, making it resemble a warhead as it divebombs downward.

The Groizer X's are sort of a twist on a twist on an original character, as these robots come from the 2009 Mazinger anime, which took a lesser-known Go Nagai Mecha series and turned "it" into a general group of four Kikaiju that battled Mazinger at various points in the series.
The Groizers' secondary purpose as transport units in this series is based off of Mazinger's Flying Fortress Gool, mostly stemming from both crafts' bomber-like appearances & weapons, and to give it more of a use than just to bomb the stuffing out of the group's enemies.
