Govarian is a robot from the anime series Psycho Armor Govarian and is a mech suit featured in The Knights of the Multiverse. It is a mass-produced mech suit based off of Mazinger Z and is frequently used by EDC forces. Though a majority of them have been retired from active duty, one is still being used by New Photon Labs director, Sayaka Yumi.

History Edit

Pre-Series Edit

During the waining hours of the Imperial Wars, the EDC created a mass-produced Super Robot to assist the Allied Robot Corps to aid in their battles, basing their design and attacks off of the Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger. They actually proved to be quite the capable units, being almost on par with their Mazinger counterparts. Unforturnately though, during the final battle with the Mycenae Empire, almost all of the Govarians were destroyed in battle. What few units remained were only used by veteran pilots of the war, most famously by the daughter of the Photon Labs Institute, Sayaka Yumi. Their schematics would then be used heavily in the creation of the Strike Daggers.

Mini-Series Edit

Season 1 Edit

Season 2 Edit

Season 3 Edit

Abilities & Equipment Edit

As its based off of the original Mazinger Z, it possesses several of its attacks, with a couple new accessories:

  • Rust Hurricane
  • Photon Beam
  • Breast Fire
  • Jet Pack

A jet pack attached to its back, rather than a Jet Scrander like Mazinger.

  • Machine Gun Rifle

Govarian carries with it a standard-gauge assault rifle, able to fire 25 machine gun rounds per second.

Combo Attacks Edit

Double Burning Fire

  • Combo attack w/ Mazinger Z: Govarian and Z fire both of their Breast Fires at an opponent.

Notes Edit

Govarian's role in this series is similar to the Ichinana from Mazinger Z: Infinity as both are robots similar to the Mazinger robots. Of course though, in its original series, Govarian was a singular unit.

The decision to give Sayaka a Govarian was to replace her Diana A with a much stronger suit that would be on par with Mazinger Z & the other mechs seen in KotM.
