Niko is a character from Casshern Sins and is a major supporting character in The Knights of the Multiverse, introduced in Season 1. She's a Droid made in the image of a young girl (though is actually much older) that was created to act as a nurse. Unfortunately, her brain module was heavily damaged and spend many of those years stuck in Disposal Yard 99, until she was found by the Crystal Knights, where she was taken in and became one of their main medical units.
Personality[]
As she's made to act as a nurse, Niko is very friendly and extremely kind to everyone she encounters even going as far as to tending to wounds for both her human and robotic comrades, an element that even carried over when her brain module was damaged. However, due to said brain damage, she often acts like an innocently ignorant girl with no idea of the world around her, with her damaged circuits having a tendency to cause her to slip up or simply not apply her repairs properly, so she's mostly stuck to simple stuff like medical wrapping tape or the like, but at least she always makes sure she tries. She only retained a small part of her memory which she is sensitive about, as seen when she's sometimes unable to answer others and how often she brakes down into tears over her failure to respond.

Pre-Series[]
No one really knows who created Niko or why, but most of the Knights believe that she was probably some kind of care taker-type 'droid given how much she wants to help people. At some point, her brain circuitry was fried beyond repair, leaving her stuck in a state of fantasy, sort of like a human infant, and was either discarded by her former owner to be disposed of or was simply lost, ending up in the back alleys of Tokyo. It seemed like during this long period of time, she aimlessly wandered around the ravaged, desolate area and would help other wayward robots that had found themselves abandoned as well (even if she always failed to do it properly).

Even with her damaged brain module, Niko still maintains all of her knowledge about both medical and repair work, able to successfully patch up/repair both human and robot "patients".

Niko almost always carries on her person at all times a large red bag that holds many medical items, like elastic bandage wrap, a micro welding torch to do quick work on another Droid's joints, and many more.

The rust on Niko's neck from the original Casshern Sins anime has been changed into a robotic exoskeleton, indicated by details like the lines for her neck and arm joints, retextualizing the "wound" into a way to help indicate her age.
Her creator's name is taken from the other robot featured in her spotlight episode in her home series.
