Emperor Starscream is a character from Transformers Cybertron and is the main antagonist of the Knights of the Multiverse Special: Shattered Glass. He serves as the emperor of his own pocket dimension called Planet X, which he rules with an iron fist and uses a sharp of a mysterious black crystal to bring in beings from all over the Multiverse to battle for his amusement.
Personality[]
Unlike the Knights' more noble Starscream, this Starscream is completely unsurpassed in ego or ambition, and is extremely ruthless & cold-hearted, caring for nobody but himself. He's also one to get annoyed whenever his subordinates fail a task, being a Bot that firmly believes in the idea of "want something done right, do it yourself". After absorbing and utilizing so much power from both his universe and the power he's found in his new power source, he's only become much more unhinged and crazier than before, delusionally believing himself to be "Emperor of the Universe" and seemingly equivalent to a god. He believes that true power comes from being able to shape the universe to your will, believing he can "bear the unbearable" for the sake of this power. He's also quite fond of mocking his enemies with sarcasm.
History[]
Pre-Series[]
While he appeared to be loyal to his Megatron, Starscream was secretly prepares a coup against him to become leader of the Decepticons. This resulted in a fracturing of the group, with Starscream discovering a group of ancient Decepticons; he also recruited two neutral Transformers, Sideways and Soundwave. After several encounters, Starscream and Galvatron have one final battle which ended with Starscream, Soundwave, and Sideways being transported into another dimension.

Emperor Starscream is able to transform into a cybertronian jet, although nowadays he hardly feels the need to do so.

Emperor Starscream is able to manipulate any part of his body in any way he wishes, being able to grow and shrink at will.

The huge pieces of armor on Emperor Starscream's arms are laser blasters.

Starscream is able to dispense a sword from the left side of his shoulder armor.

Starscream is able to dispense a sword from the right side of his shoulder armor.

The inclusion of the Cybertron cartoon's version of Starscream is meant to be a play on multiverse theory, with a hint of irony on how the Knights were close friends with the most noble & heroic incarnation of the character only to then face off against potentially the most dangerous.
