Dr. Akamashi is a character from Murder Princess and is a minor character in Knights of the Multiverse Season 1. He's a scientist working for the L.O.S.R. organization, mainly working on robots that resemble monsters. He is also the creator of the twins Ana and Yuna.
Personality[]
Akamashi is a man of very few words, only communicating in brief grunts and such, only speaking full sentences when he truly feels he must. All the same though, he does seem privy to the idea of taking over the world as most other Renegade-associated scientists and will attack anyone who gets the way of his goal. However, he does have at least a small soft spot in his heart, as he does love Ana and Yuna as his daughters. It was even his love for them that brought his downfall, as seeing how he turned them both - two machines he gave no other purpose than to be his children - into simply more weapons caused him to finally wake up to what he was truly doing.
History[]
Pre-Series[]
Dr. Akamashi was one of the dozens of scientists that was brought into the original L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. organization, designing various monster-like robots but hardly ever coercing with his fellow mad scientists. However, he soon found that his life was rather lonely. Thusly, he decided to create two small, almost doll-like Droids to act as his lab assistants and children; Ana & Yuna. The three lived togther happily, with the girls helping to keep his laboratory tidy. However, around the end of summer the previous year, Akamashi lost his main funding after the original L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. collapsed. The doctor fell into despair, not sure how to continue his plans, but Ana and Yuna quickly said that they were willing to help out any way they could, even if it meant he had to use their bodies in another project, as long as he was happy again. But, instead of tear them apart, Akamashi would modify their bodies to house several types of weapons and enhance their perform so they could perform near-superhuman feats of speed and strength. After their upgrades were completed, the Doctor gave his creations the task of breaking into various banks, jewelry stores and the like to gather enough resources for him to purchase as much supplies as he needed. The twins, with their love for their father clouding their better judgment, accepted this task with no questions. They would continue doing this for several more months.

Notes[]
Akamashi is one of the few Renegade scientists that doesn't originate from Phineas and Ferb but was included due to the importance he plays in two of the major characters of the series, similarly to Dr. Rindolph.
In the original anime, Akamashi was a scientist working for the late King Forland, but abused "lost technology" entrusted to the Forland royal family, and conspired to take over the kingdom in order to gain complete possession over said technology; though it would later be revealed that his mind was corrupted by the information of the lost technology (which subsequently led to his death). So, his interpretation here sort of tries to tie his evil side and "good" side from before the story together, as well as taking a bit on influence to how much the twins truly seemed to love him in their home series, making into the season's first real instances of humanizing the Renegade scientists, with him still doing evil things but realizing what he did was wrong and going to jail willingly.
- On a similar note, in the source material, Ana and Yuna were created to be his main enforcers/bodyguards during his coup on the kingdom. In this series, the reason for their creation is sort of like a dark twist on Mega Man's origin, being created to act as his children first and then given the weapons they have; of course here it's to commit robberies and the like. It's also somewhat (heavy emphasis on somewhat) like Shou Tucker with him transforming his "offspring" for a dark purpose, but of course unlike him, Akamashi is meant to realize how much he messed up, making him also one of the first Renegade scientists to be humanized in their relationships with their creations.
