The AMX-007 Dijeh is a robot from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam and is a mass-produced Mobile Suit featured in Knights of the Multiverse Season 2. It was created by Axis Zeon as a sort-of successor to their Gelgoog units, and was made to aid in their war effort to take control of the Multiverse.

Season 2[edit | edit source]

Weapons[edit | edit source]

  • Vulcan Guns

The Dijeh has a pair of 60mm vulcan guns mounted in its head unit. However, unlike other vulcan systems, the Dijeh's vulcan guns' ammunitions are stored in the suit's back, and fed to the weapon via two exposed tubes.

  • Round Shield

The Dijeh has an articulated shield attached to its right shoulder. As it is not handheld, it has limited defensive angles and directions, but it does has a wide defensive area.

  • Beam Naginata

The Dijeh carries the same twin beam sword, or "Beam Naginata", as the old Gelgoog models. It has a long handle and a beam emitter at both ends for generating two Naginata-shaped beam blades simultaneously. Alternatively, it can also generate like a normal beam blade on one end, but this blade is much thicker. When not in use, the beam naginata is stored on the rear skirt armor.

  • Beam Rifle

The Dijeh carries a standard-issue beam rifle, powered by a replaceable e-pac. It has a retractable hook on top of the barrel for mounting onto the suit's backpack when not in use.

Notes[edit | edit source]

The Dijeh is one of several mobile suits/weapons from the original Zeta Gundam series that was absent from the New Translation movies, and one of the many that wasn't created by Axis; this weapon in particular was used by the Karaba resistance group, and only one was seen in the series proper (though mass-produced versions would show up in other Universal Century stories). In fact, it was even piloted by the legendary Amuro Ray himself.

There actually does already exist a mobile suit with the AMX-007 designation, the Gaza-E, but since it doesn't have any major appearances in Gundam media (that, and having another Gaza-type would just be a bit redundant), the Dijeh was assigned this designation.
