The Cui is a machine from Mobile Suit Gundam (1979) and is a weapon used in Knights of the Multiverse Season 1. It is a mass-produced mobile weapon used by the evil organization L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. and operate as mobile shield generators for their Big Tray Battleship fleet.

History Edit

Season 1 Edit

Around the end of their crusade for world domination, and after numerous failures while working seperately, the remaining L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. staff members came together to formulate an endgame. One such plan was to take key notes from their previous fortress plans and improve upon them, for both offensive and defensive purposes. Most notably, they took cues from their Dabude and Flying Battleship schemes. While they would give their new battle platforms much improved armor, to give them an even bigger advantage (and tick off the Crystal Knights even more), they created up to eight smaller weapon platforms to create a Photon Power barrier (whose schematics they had copied from both the New Photon Labs and Crystal Headquarters).

Equipment Edit

Laser Turret Edit

Each Cui unit has a standard-issue laser turret on top of its command center.

Shield Generator Edit

When multiple Cui units gather around and form a circle, a large pole raises from the command center. The pole then emits a Photon power barrier from both sides that connects to a similar photon beam created by the other Cui units. The barrier itself is completely impervious to all energy-based attacks, and the only way to disable the shield is to destroy at least one of the Cui units.

Wing Shields Edit

The large walls that separate the Cui's outer treads from the main body are strong enough to resist any ground-based attack. Both walls are also able to shift in any general direction, even allowing the unit to drive sideways.

Notes Edit

The Cui is actually a very small vehicle, coming up to about 6.2 meters in height.

The original Cui was actually a troop transport carrier for Zeon ground troops equipped with jet packs. The shield generator function is an original idea for KotM.
