This page is a footnote, made to explain the science/supernatural phenomena/small details seen throughout the series, The Knights of the Multiverse.
This page details the basics of the continuity for the shows showcased in The Knights of the Multiverse.
Sequels & Midquels[edit | edit source]
The series takes place after the events of many of the featured shows, such as Transformers Armada, G Gundam, Phineas and Ferb, Danny Phantom, and My Life as a Teenage Robot. However, a number of them (mostly the ones that appear in one-off episodes) take place in the middle of their respective storylines.
Retellings[edit | edit source]
On a smaller scale, shows such as Steven Universe, Sailor Moon, Star vs the Forces of Evil & Gunbuster have their stories retold in the series, each taking their own unique directions from their original counterparts. For more information about how each series's differences to the originals, check out each's page.
The series, Earth Prime specifically, takes cues from the Super Robot Wars game franchise, taking storylines (or single elements) from multiple shows and put them onto one singular Earth. There are also examples of one or more characters being given different backstories to their counterparts in their source material (usually being tied into either the Getter or Mazinger franchise), such as Ruri Hoshino (renamed Ruri Saotome in the series), the God Mars crew and Tobikage.
Mazinger & Getter[edit | edit source]
The series takes place around 5 to 7 years the ends of both series's 1970's counterparts, excluding UFO Robo Grendizer, and have each been bumped up to taking place around the mid 2010's. Though Great Mazinger and Getter Robo have at least two crossover movies, only the first one, simply referred to as Great Mazinger vs. Getter Robo, is considered fully canon, while the second one, Great Mazinger vs. Getter Robo G: Kuchu Daigekitotsu, is only partially canon, since the beginning details Musashi Tomoe's differently to the original Getter Robo story.
