Class 1-A is a collection of characters from My Hero Academia and are a group of minor/re-occurring characters in The Knights of the Multiverse that're introduced in Season 2. They are a group of superpowered individuals that attend U.A. High School as sophomores trying to train to become real heroes. They also sometimes lend The Knights their services.

Students[]

Yuga Aoyama/Can't Stop Twinkling[]

Yuga Aoyama, also known as Can't Stop Twinkling (yes, he's one of those guys), is an up-and-coming hero that's able to fire a laser from his stomach.

Personality[]

Yuga appears to be a vain and prideful person, thinking of himself as superior to the rest of his classmates, especially in regards to his Quirk. He exhibits extremely flamboyant mannerisms, is fond of posing and likes to grab the attention of those around him despite frequently getting ignored by his peers. His expression rarely changes from a closed smile, even while he speaks or gets hurt, and he's also prone to getting upset if interrupted or questioned. He also tends to play up his French heritage, occasionally implementing French words into his sentences.

However, this persona is shown to be mostly a façade, as Yuga holds severe insecurities about his Quirk, and, in reality, he doesn't see himself as above anyone else. In fact, he appears to think of himself as different from everybody, due to the "defective" Quirk he was born with. Yuga has been struggling with this since his childhood and wishes to become "normal" one day.

Yuga does possess a compassionate side and is shown to sympathize with Izuku Midoriya, due to the both of them having what he perceives as highly self-harmful and uncontrollable Quirks, although the way in which he displays this sympathy initially startled Izuku. Izuku has stated that he’s never been able to read Yuga due to his unpredictable nature, although he still ended up befriending him.

Yuga is also easily frightened by danger and prefers to hide rather than fight, though he can still help out a friend as long as he remains safe and isn't above sacrificing himself, highly contrasting his usual self-centered attitude.

History[]

Season 2[]
Season 3[]

Skills/Quirks[]

  • Navel Laser

Yuga's Quirk allows him to shoot a powerful sparkling laser cannon from his navel. If he fires the laser for more than one second at a time, he will suffer intestinal distress. Due to a birth defect though, he has very little control over his Quirk and needs to wear a special belt to compensate.

Super Move[]
  • Navel Laser Buffet
Yuga fires successive beams not only from his navel but also from his shoulders, which are equipped with beam openings just like his Sparkle Belt. As a result, this technique puts more strain on him than when he uses his Quirk normally.

Mina Ashido/Pinky[]

Mina Ashido, also known as Pinky, is an up-and-coming hero with acidic-based powers.

Personality[]

Mina is a cheerful, easygoing girl with a huge smile on her face most of the time. Highly social and excitable, she loves to hang out with her friends, and is shown to become very upset when denied an opportunity to be at a gathering.

Her academic performance is notably poor, with her goofily laughing about it despite showing clear anxiety and frustration on the inside. Because of this, she's sometimes viewed as an airhead by her classmates (second only to Kaminari). Still, Mina is capable of showing dedication to her studies as long as she gets proper tutoring.

She's also somewhat of a romantic and holds a lot of interest over the love lives of other people, to the point of being obnoxiously curious and intrusive about them. Her suspicions, however, tend to be rather baseless most of the time, as she seems to view any instance of a pairing as possible proof of a relationship regardless of compatibility.

Despite her more goofy tendencies though, Mina is extremely courageous and viewed as an ideal personality for hero work. Before entering U.A. High, she would condemn bullying in middle school. Like all of her classmates, she's always willing to put her life on the line to save others, even if she can't deal with the fear afterwards.

She also really enjoys dancing.

History[]

Pre-Series[]
Season 2[]
Season 3[]

Skills/Quirks[]

  • Acid

Mina's Quirk has her produce a corrosive liquid from her body. Able to control the solubility and viscosity, she can use it offensively, but has shown utility as well, such as melting handholds for herself to climb with. She is also known to secrete a non-corrosive version of the acid from her feet in order to slide around. However, she also has a limit of how long she can produce acid until her skin gradually loses its natural resistance to it.

Super Moves[]
  • Acid Veil
Mina's main special move: by maximizing her acid's solubility and viscosity, Mina creates a gelatinous acid wall that blocks incoming projectiles. Mina's Acid Veil was strong enough to block hardened balls (which were stronger than concrete) with ease.
  • Acid Shot
Mina fires a hail of acidic bullets over a widespread area from above to shower down on to her opponents.
  • Acid Layback
Mina projects acid from her shoes to dissolve the surface of the ground beneath her and make it easier to spin on the spot. With the enhanced momentum of her super-fast spin she can throw projectiles with massively increased force.
  • Acidman
After increasing the viscosity of her Quirk, Mina generates a large amount of acid that takes a vaguely anthropomorphic form that covers her entire body. This technique is mainly used for defense, since every attack against Mina will be dissolved by the powerful acid that protects her.

Tsuyu Asui/Froppy[]

Tsuyu Asui, also known as Froppy, is an up-and-coming hero with frog-like abilities.

Personality[]

Tsuyu is a straightforward and laid-back individual who always speaks directly from her mind and what she thinks about others. She's noticeably calm and collected, able to stay levelheaded and focused even during the most stressful situations. A honor student since middle school, Tsuyu has great judgment, can communicate her intentions easily and is rarely moved by emotion, making her an incredibly dependable ally who's capable of covering for a partner's weaknesses. For those reasons, most people describe her as a "perfect pillar of emotional support".

Due to her parents always busy at work, requiring her to become the caretaker of two younger siblings at a young age, she grew into a highly mature and responsible individual who could divide her attention between school and home duties without letting one interfere on the other. This also means that Tsuyu knows how to lead and look after people, keeping them safe and at ease if they don't feel so. She has strong morals and principles, and is willing to oppose her friends to defend them from decisions she considers rash. However, even Tsuyu has her limits when it comes to staying composed, having broken down in despair or heartbreak a few times. Her words may also come off as unintentionally harsh thanks to her blunt honesty, resulting in her feeling guilty and regretful when she speaks out against her friends.

History[]

Pre-Series[]
Season 2[]
Season 3[]

Skills/Quirks[]

  • Frog: Tsuyu's Quirk allows her to do anything a frog can do, such as:
    • Hopping long distances.
    • Extending her tongue up to a maximum of 20 meters (which is strong enough to lift an entire person's body weight).
    • Sticking to walls.
    • Ejecting/washing her stomach.
    • Secreting a mild, itch-inducing toxin.
    • Camouflaging herself.

Since she is frog-like, when she is exposed to cold temperatures for too long, she goes into hibernation and is unable to function.

Super Moves[]
  • Camouflage
Tsuyu uses her frog-like body to match the temperature and color of her surroundings in order to mask her presence.

Tenya Iida/Ingenium[]

Tenya Iida, also known as Ingenium, is a speed-based up-and-coming hero that acts as the class representative.

Personality[]

Tenya may look severe, unfriendly, and even intimidating at first glance, but he's actually a very straightforward, earnest, intelligent, sophisticated, disciplined, and noble person, although a bit clueless about personal interactions due to his elite upbringing. A testament to his generally hyperactive and intense behavior, Tenya often exhibits plenty of peculiar tics, such as moving his arms around in strange chopping patterns or sometimes twitching his own body uncontrollably, yet he rarely sheds his usual strict expression.

History[]

Pre-Series[]
Season 2[]
Season 3[]

Skills/Quirks[]

  • Engine

Tenya's Quirk manifests in the form of car-like engines in each of his calves, giving him incredible running speed and extreme kicking power. Tenya needs to fuel his engines by drinking orange juice.

Tenya's engines have multiple gears; it is currently unknown how many, but it has been implied that there are more than three. Much like a real engine, his Quirk requires that the exhaust pipes on the backs of his legs remain clear of obstructions in order to function properly.

Super Moves[]
  • Engine Boost
This move allows Tenya to accelerate his Quirk, This is the only move that isn't a Recipro.
  • Recipro Burst
This move allows Tenya to forcibly accelerate his Quirk, giving Tenya greatly enhanced speed for ten seconds at the cost of disabling his engines for a short period of time afterward.
  • Recipro Extend
After Tenya manages to cool down the negative effects of Recipro Burst, he regains even more acceleration than before.
  • Recipro Turbo
After removing his mufflers and allowing new ones to grow in their place, Tenya is able to accelerate his Quirk and greatly enhance his speed for ten minutes. The speed this Super Move grants is faster than Recipro Burst and Recipro Extend, rivaling even Jet.

Ochaco Uraraka/Uravity[]

Ochaco Uraraka, also known as Uravity, is an up-and-coming hero with gravity-altering powers.

Personality[]

Other students have described Ochaco as "the most laid back girl" among her class, being very bubbly and kind of an airhead at times. She is often incredibly blunt without being aware of it. Like Midoriya, Ochaco's reactions tend to be exaggerated and humorous: She often becomes amused at certain personality traits and quirks others exhibit, bursting into laughter at times, which she tries to suppress.

Ochaco is a very warm, lively individual who thinks about everything positively, though she is objective enough to see flaws and virtues. She is empathetic in general, friendly to those she meets, and will try to help or defend anyone who is kind to her or who needs assistance. Ochaco seems to be very good at reading people, understanding the reasons for Midoriya and Bakugo’s rivalry, and being the first to notice when the usually collected Tsuyu was upset. Her empathy and kindness are also seen in how well she gets along with her classmates. She is on good terms with everyone and is particularly close friends with several members of the class, including Izuku, Tenya, Tsuyu, and so on.

Despite her usually cheery and sometimes ditzy demeanor, Ochaco can take on an extremely determined, focused, and somewhat intimidating attitude when the situation calls for it. This side of her personality can come as a surprise to those who are used to her generally bubbly nature, often appearing during competitive situations. While she is shown to be surprisingly strategic, she isn't above making some impulsive or reckless decisions. When it comes to her chosen path as a Hero, Ochaco is unwavering and dislikes being underestimated, even in the face of an overwhelming force.

History[]

Pre-Series[]
Season 2[]
Season 3[]

Skills/Quirks[]

  • Zero Gravity

Ochaco's Quirk gives her the power to nullify the effects of gravity on solid targets (living and nonliving) by touching them with the pads on her fingertips, causing them to become weightless and float. She is able to cancel the effect of her Quirk by touching her finger pads together.

Super Moves[]
  • Skill Release
Ochaco can press her fingertips together and make whatever she has touched stop floating.
  • Meteor Storm
After floating a large quantity of rubble surrounding her, Ochaco can collect the collaterally damaged structures, forming a giant meteor of debris above her opponents, which she then causes to fall.
  • Meteor Fafrotskies
In conjunction with Tsuyu, the two rise and throw several pieces of debris at the targets. It is a stronger, multi-ranged version of Meteor Storm.
  • Zero Satellites
Being knocked towards some nearby debris, Ochaco floats it and with the addition of her grappling hooks, attacking her opponent by slamming the debris straight at them.  It is essentially a close-range version of Meteor Storm.
  • Comet Home Run
After touching some rubble and a pillar to make them weightless, Ochaco uses the pillar to forcefully hit the rubble at her enemy.

Mashirao Ojiro/Tailman[]

Mashirao Ojiro, also known as Tailman, is an up-and-coming hero with a tail.

Personality[]

Mashirao has a very calm and noble attitude, as well as a very deep sense of dignity, which prevents him from accepting results that he doesn't feel like he earned with his own abilities. He is also described as a hard worker.

Along with a strong sense of dignity, Mashirao can be described as sheepish and bashful, not very often enjoying the spotlight and being easily embarrassed. He is quite humble, yet also reliable and focused during hero work. A recurring joke is that others tend to view him as "plain", something that deeply upsets him, showing that he's sensitive and self-conscious about his own personality and abilities.

When something excites him, he wags his tail, similarly to a dog.

History[]

Pre-Series[]
Season 2[]
Season 3[]

Skills/Quirks[]

  • Tail

Mashirao's Quirk is that he has a long, powerful, sturdy tail. He is incredibly adept at using it, having demonstrated creative abilities, such as whipping it down against the ground to give himself a speed boost.

Super Moves[]
  • Tornado Tail Dance
Mashirao spins in mid-air, hitting anything around him with his tail. First used against Pony Tsunotori to destroy her remote-controlled horns during the Joint Training Battle.
  • Fist of the Tail: Swamp Smack Spin
A defensive technique where Mashirao spins horizontally with his tail stretched out, generating enough force to repel anything close to him.

Denki Kaminari/Chargebolt[]

Denki Kaminari, also known as Chargebolt, is a thunder and lightning-based up-and-coming hero.

Personality[]

Denki is a friendly, social and energetic young lad who likes to hang out with people. He's rather casual when interacting with others, including the generally unfriendly Bakugo, although he's also not above petty complaining or overreacting if feeling annoyed or shocked enough. Denki may come off as blunt and reckless at times, but does mean well.

Denki isn't very academically bright, requiring lots of help at studying due to his general disinterest/neglect for school duties. He doesn't seem to pay much attention in classes, gets easily bored from lectures and suffers anxiety attacks when dealing with tests, at which point he becomes increasingly agitated and aggressive. Frequently showing a lack of tact and smarts in and out of school, Denki may give off the impression of being stupid or foolish, leading others to throw snide remarks at him (especially Jiro) or underestimate his capabilities as a hero. Despite this, Denki is surprisingly knowledgeable in certain areas like literature, art and music, and has a large vocabulary that shows up every now and then.

During combat, he's very quick to panic and sometimes accidentally activates his Quirk in the face of imminent danger, leaving himself vulnerable in the process. He becomes more reluctant to use his full power when there are allies close to him, being afraid of hurting them through collateral damage from his volatile bolts. When he's assured that all his allies will be safe from his powers, he becomes much more confident in his fighting abilities. He never tolerates others looking down on him or his classmates, and will defend them if necessary.

Whenever he exceeds his wattage limit, he loses his ability to discharge energy, with his entire personality changing into that of a giggling idiot for a certain period until he reverts back to normal. In this state, he is always giving thumbs ups, as a way to let others know that he is fine.

History[]

Pre-Series[]
Season 2[]
Season 3[]

Skills/Quirks[]

  • Electrification

Denki's Quirk allows him to generate electricity and cover his body in it. While he can also emit this energy over a distance, Denki has little to no control over it. Exceeding his wattage limit causes his brain to short-ciruit, leaving him in a vulnerable state for 1 hour.

Super Moves[]
  • Indiscriminate Discharge 1,300,000 Volts
Denki releases a large amount of electricity to shock everyone around him. But, since 1,300,000 volts is his current limit, using this technique, his brain short-circuits for 1 hour.

  • Eijiro Kirishima
  • Kyoka Jiro
The Knights[]

Eijiro Kirishima/Red Riot[]

Eijiro Kirishima, also known as Red Riot, is an up-and-coming hero that's able to harden/sharpen any part of his body (stop that).

Personality[]

Eijiro is a boisterous and outgoing guy with a fondness for the concept of manliness, often using the terms "manly" and "unmanly" to describe things and people he does or doesn't like. Those who showcase a noble, brave, and/or determined attitude tend to emotionally move him to tears, quickly earning his complete admiration, respect, and friendship. Similarly, he will call out traits that are the opposite of that, such as cowardice and dirty play. Eijiro himself is determined and selfless, bravely putting the safety of others before himself.

He's very honest and kind-hearted, having a straightforward way of thinking and following a specific code of chivalry that motivates him to live without regret. Thanks to his respectful and encouraging attitude, he's easily capable of making friends with most people he encounters, particularly those that show as much passion and resolve as he does. Loyal and dedicated to his friends, he's willing to go as far as to break laws and rules in order to help or save them, becoming regretful if he becomes unable to come for their aid. Eijiro has a strong sense of responsibility, sometimes being very hard on himself for any negative outcomes that befall him or his friends. As such, he's always thinking on how to further improve his own abilities and strengths, so as to not feel weak or burdensome to others.

History[]

Pre-Series[]
Season 2[]
Season 3[]

Skills/Quirks[]

  • Hardening

Eijiro's Quirk gives him the power to harden and sharpen any or all parts of his body, causing his flesh to become jagged and rock-like. There is a limit to how much damage it can take though, which causes the hardening itself to slowly dissipate, and Eijiro to lose stamina from struggling to keep his Quirk active.

Super Moves[]
  • Red Counter
While hardened, Eijiro endures a close-range attack with his skin and then counters with a straight punch.
  • Red Riot Unbreakable
Eijiro reaches his maximum hardening level by turning his entire body extremely hard and rugged, leaving him with a monstrous appearance and practically invulnerable to most forms of attack. This form can only be maintained for around 30 to 40 seconds.
  • Red Gauntlet
Eijiro rushes towards the enemy and delivers a single strong punch to the gut against them. If used during Red Riot Unbreakable, it deals massive damage.

Koji Koda/Anima[]

Koji Koda, also known as Anima, is an up-and-coming hero that can communicate with animals.

Personality[]

Contrary to his powerful and brutish appearance, Koji is a very shy and quiet person. As such, he rarely speaks and prefers using sign language to communicate with his classmates, so much so that his classmates used to think that he was mute. He also hates violence due to his kind-hearted nature, and is very good at keeping secrets.

He greatly enjoys the company of animals, even owning a small rabbit as a pet. With his Quirk, Koji can interact with them in ways others can't.

He also often suffers from entomophobia, being deathly afraid of bugs, with the mere sight of them making him scream and run away in fear. However, Koji is capable of (reluctantly) putting this fear aside if it means helping his comrades.

History[]

Pre-Series[]
Season 2[]
Season 3[]

Skills/Quirks[]

  • Anivoice

Koji's Quirk gives him the ability to command any creature in the animal kingdom by speaking to them. Whatever command he gives, the animal will carry it out. However, he is unable to exert his control if they cannot hear his command. The target must also be a real animal and not merely animal-like. Koji can also exchange information with the animals to find the locations of various people and potential enemies faster.

Rikido Sato/Sugarman[]

Rikido Sato, also known as Sugarman, is an up-and-coming hero that can increase his strength through lots of sugar.

Personality[]

Rikido has an interest in sweets and baking, the latter being a useful skill to have due to his Quirk. He's surprisingly talented at making sweets, conquering his classmates with his food several times.

History[]

Pre-Series[]
Season 2[]
Season 3[]

Skills/Quirks[]

  • Sugar Rush

Rikido's Quirk allows him to increase his strength five-fold for three minutes. In order to activate his Quirk, he needs to consume 10 grams of sugar. When converting sugar into strength, his cognitive functions gradually drop, making him very sleepy afterward. For every additional 10 grams of sugar he ingests, he extends the time of increased strength by another three minutes.

Mezo Shoji/Tentacole[]

Mezo Shoji, also known as Tentacole, is an up-and-coming hero with multiple arms.

Personality[]

Despite his rather frightening appearance, Mezo is a very friendly and gentle person who will work nicely with anyone. He is not the type to hold grudges, showing no ill will towards those that harm him unwillingly. He's very selfless and is always willing to risk his life for a friend. He can be empathetic and understanding, but still shows a sense of maturity and responsibility that prevents himself from acting under emotional impulses, even if he feels regretful about it. It is evident that he is very protective of his fellow classmates, especially if they are hurt or injured.

History[]

Pre-Series[]
Season 2[]
Season 3[]

Skills/Quirks[]

  • Dupli-Arms

Mezo's Quirk is that he has a set of tentacles attached to his arms. He can transform the tips into other parts of his body, like a mouth, ears and eyes. The duplicated body parts are more efficient than the originals; as a result, Mezo is able to hear better (which helps make him aware sneak attacks), see through more angles at a time, and they grant him much higher degrees of strength. He also uses his arms to talk most of the time rather than his actual mouth.

Super Moves[]
  • Octoblow
Mezo's super move, he manifests several arms at once, allowing him to unleash a barrage of blows to defend himself.

  • Unnamed Duplication Combo
Shoji repeatedly duplicates his arms along with one of his tentacle arms on each side. This creates long chains that he uses to climb tall obstacles.

Kyoka Jiro/Earphone Jack[]

Kyoka Jiro, also known as Earphone Jack, is an up-and-coming hero that uses her headphone jack-like earlobes in verious sound-related ways.

Personality[]

Though she usually enjoy socializing with others, and is usually nice and friendly, Kyoka is usually pragmatic, unenthusiastic and often teases her classmates that is mostly shown to those she finds irritating.

She often gesticulates through her elongated earlobes in place of her hands. She can also be quite aggressive, evidenced when she uses the Earphone Jacks her Quirk provides to physically punish people when provoked, or to keep them in line, especially Kaminari and Mineta. During hero activities, however, Kyoka prefers smarter approaches, usually by coming up with a plan herself. She is surprisingly organized and makes sure to convey her ideas in a way that's easy to understand.

Despite how cold and indifferent she comes off as though, Kyoka also has a much more sensitive side, being very defensive towards her friends, empathetic with others' feelings and getting flustered when her talents and capabilities are brought up. While Kyoka is hard to unnerve or surprise, she is afraid of horror-based activities and has an aversion to nudity. She is a bit self-conscious about her looks as well.

She also has a strong love for rock music.

History[]

Pre-Series[]
Season 2[]
Season 3[]

Skills/Quirks[]

  • Earphone Jack

Kyoka's Quirk gives her a pair of headphone jacks hanging from her earlobes. When the jacks are plugged into something, she can channel the sound of her heartbeat into it in the form of a violent vibration attack. She can also stretch them several meters, and can allow her to hear smaller sounds/vibrations from her surroundings.

Super Moves[]
  • Counter-Balance
Using her amps on her leg, Kyoka fires off large sound waves to cancel out attacks
  • Heartbeat Fuzz
Using special sound-amplifying items located on her forearms, Kyoka plugs her jacks into those amplifiers and slams them onto the floor, channeling a powerful heartbeat that causes the ground to shatter due to the enhanced vibrations.
  • Heartbeat Surround
Using the same sound-amplifying items from her Heartbeat Fuzz technique, Kyoka uses her jacks to remove the equipment pieces from her wrists and aim them towards a target, channeling a loud heartbeat that ignores conventional defenses and incapacitates foes.

Relationships[]

Class 1-A[]
  • Denki Kaminari

Denki's cluelessness often makes him an easy target for all of Kyota's snarky comments.

The Knights[]

Hanta Sero/Cellophane[]

Hanto Sero, also known as Cellophane, is an up-and-coming hero with tape dispenser-like elbows.

Personality[]

Hanta is a very friendly person and has proven to be one of the more sociable members of Class 1-A, easily making friends with practically everyone around him and is shown to be a very laid-back guy. He can be loud and showy at times, often trying to impress his peers with his Quirk.

He's often the only person to call his classmates out when they are acting crazy. He's quite humorous and often takes part in making jokes with his classmates. However, when push comes to shove, Hanta is a brave hero-in-training who wishes to prosper on his own while helping others do the same. He's often able to keep up his confidence and make an effort, even when he believes that the odds are stacked heavily against him.

History[]

Pre-Series[]
Season 2[]
Season 3[]

Skills/Quirks[]

  • Tape

Hanta's Quirk gives him tape dispenser-like organs in his elbows, from which he can shoot and retract long cellophane tape-like strips, though are somewhat sturdier than regular tape. He can use it to wrap people, swing long distances, and create traps, among other applications. Overusing his Quirk will cause his skin to dry out.

Super Moves[]
  • Barricade Tape
A more defensive super move, Hanta covers his surroundings with tape in order to protect himself and others from enemy attacks.

  • Tape Shot Trident
Hanta uses various threads to grabs objects and launches them as projectiles at the enemy.

Fumikage Tokoyami/Tsukuyomi[]

Fumikage Tokoyami, also known as Tsukuyomi, is an up-and-coming hero that can use a sentient shadow monster.

Personality[]

Fumikage is reserved, serious, and focused, albeit noble and valiant as well. Though he does not talk very much, he will directly ignore questions or requests that seem in some way pointless (like sitting on his desk when not in the middle of a lesson) while he talks to other people as some sort of ongoing joke. When Fumikage teams up with others, he becomes more sociable, helping his teammates out, reassuring his trust in them and thanking them for their effort.

He's very fond of darkness and other related concepts, considering himself a "creature of the dark" and employing archaic-sounding speeches that end up painting him as slightly creepy or dramatic. Nevertheless, he is a bit insecure about his interests due to them being more on the arcane, fantastical side, and thus harder for others to understand or relate to.

Fumikage also possesses a great amount of humility, being aware of his own limits and understanding when it's time to back down. He takes any advice he gets seriously and uses it to try and improve on his Quirk and abilities, showing great determination to even keep up with the top heroes. Fumikage thinks little about fame and idolatry, but is still prideful enough to not tolerate being looked down by others.

History[]

Pre-Series[]
Season 2[]
Season 3[]

Skills/Quirks[]

  • Dark Shadow

Fumikage's Quirk allows him to manifest a sentient shadow monster from his body that he can materialize and contract freely. Dark Shadow's energy is limited and can be drained by bright light. When it runs out of energy, Dark Shadow retracts back into Fumikage's body.

The shadow monster's personality, strength, defense, and control depends on the lack of light. In bright light, Dark Shadow is weaker and smaller in size, but still has considerable strength and defense and is easier to control. In total darkness, Dark Shadow is much bigger, which grants it far greater strength and defense. It is even powerful enough to rip out and cut down multiple full-grown trees with ease. However, Dark Shadow is more difficult to control in the dark, causing it to rampage based on its own free will.

Super Moves[]
  • Black Abyss: Fumikage's main special move (previously known as Abyssal Black Body). Fumikage dons and equips Dark Shadow onto himself, wearing it like a suit of armor or an exoskeleton. According to Fumikage, equipping Dark Shadow onto himself mitigates his close-range weaknesses.
  • Piercing Twilight Claws
Fumikage shoots out Dark Shadow's claw which attacks at great speed.
  • Covert Black-Ops Arms
Fumikage enlarges Dark Shadow's arms and smashes his targets with them.
  • Abyssal Black Body Sabbath
Fumikage changes from Black Fallen Angel to Black Abyss while maintaining his momentum to deliver a powerful blow.
  • Black Fallen Angel
A technique that Fumikage devised under the tutelage of the Pro Hero Hawks, Fumikage rests his body on top of Dark Shadow and Dark Shadow uses his own levitation powers to carry Fumikage.
  • Ragnarök
When Dark Shadow is summoned in dark conditions, Dark Shadow's power grows exponentially to the point where he himself can't control it. At this time, Dark Shadow's power is enough to defeat some of the strongest villains in an instant.

Shoko Todoroki[]

Shoto Todoroki is an up-and-coming hero that has both hot and cold powers.

Personality[]

Originally cold and aloof (stemming from his abusive upbringing and complicated family life), after bonding closer to his classmates, Shoto has become more sociable and kind, even gaining a sense of humor and occasionally smiling, although still retains some fragments of his previous distant attitude. He's still very focused on any mission he sets out on, he's begun to open up more to his classmates and has lightened up from his usually serious demeanor.

Even so, Shoto still usually prefers acting alone, although only for practical purposes since doing so allows him to unleash his full power without having to worry about friendly fire. Calm and composed, yet brutal in combat, Shoto is well-grounded on the ethics of heroism, only wishing to subdue his frozen opponents as opposed to killing them by prolonging the freezing.

History[]

Pre-Series[]
Season 2[]
Season 3[]

Skills/Quirks[]

  • Half-Cold Half-Hot

Shoto's Quirk gives him the ability to generate ice from the right side of his body, and generate fire from his left side. Due to years of rejecting his father, he developed a habit of favoring ice, even when fire would be a better option. This grudge also caused him to have difficulty controlling his fire. While he is capable of using both elements simultaneously, he still has issues doing this and still needs to practice dual-wielding. While training for his ultimate move, he claimed that using both abilities at the same time slows him down. If he overuses one element without utilizing the other, his body temperature will suffer. The ice half will cause frostbite and the fire half will cause heatstroke. Until taken to his bodily limit however, neither has any visible effect on his body. Shoto can easily negate this weakness by alternating between ice and fire.

Super Moves[]
  • Heaven-Piercing Ice Wall
Shoto creates an enormous ice glacier, that can either encapsulate his opponent or block the immediate field of battle in ice.
  • Wall of Flames
Shoto uses his left side to generate a burst of flames that covers a large area. This is both a defensive and offensive attack like his Giant Ice Wall technique. It can be used to attack multiple opponents and create space between Shoto and his target.
  • Flashfreeze Heatwave
To use this technique, first Shoto cools the air around him with his ice powers. Then, by switching to his fire, Shoto rapidly heats and expands the air around him. This allows him to release a superheated blast.

Toru Hagakure/Invisible Girl[]

Toru Hagakure, also known as Invisible Girl, is an up-and-coming hero who's entire body is completely invisible.

Personality[]

Toru is a bubbly, cheery, and easygoing girl that does most things with an upbeat attitude, even if manipulated to do so. She's very socially eager and likes to shopping.

As strange as it is, she believes that taking off her clothes during battle is a tactical advantage, much to the awkwardness of those around her. That being said, she seems blissfully unaware of what it means to be invisible, such as displaying slight embarrassment at the idea of being watched undressing; a trait that shows up even when she's wearing her hero costume, which features almost no clothing in the first place.

Season 3[]

Skills/Quirks[]

  • Invisibility

Toru's Quirk is that her entire body is completely invisible (this is usually used as a source of comic relief).

Super Moves[]
  • Light Refraction
Toru is able to bend light through her invisible body, blinding those who're nearby.

Relationships[]

Class 1-A[]

Toru is close to all of her classmates, particularly her fellow female students.

The Knights[]

Katsuki Bakugo[]

Katuski Bakugo is a (very aggressive) up-and-coming "hero" that's able to create explosions.

Personality[]

Katsuki is a crude, arrogant, short-tempered, and aggressive person, especially at the beginning of the series. Katsuki tends to come off as an anti-hero, if not downright villainous for those not familiar with him. This problematic behavior goes all the way back to his early childhood days when he was known to bully a young, Quirkless Midoriya, mainly because of his Quirkless status.

However, after being accepted into U.A. High School and experiencing several personal defeats, one of them even coming from Izuku, Katsuki has gradually changed into a less antagonistic person, albeit still retaining a lot of his unpleasant traits. While often portrayed negatively, Katsuki's fierce character and competitive drive have actually granted him an important role among Class 1-A, as a sort of inspirational mood-maker.

Determined and thirsty for victory, Katsuki smiles eerily when in the middle of a battle. He is incredibly focused on achieving his own authentic victories and has learned to never underestimate his opponents. Katsuki is not only very athletic and talented at fighting, but also very intelligent and extremely perceptive, capable of strategic planning and quick improvising. Moreover, Katsuki's grades are among the highest of his class and he already knew how to read perfectly by age 4, evidence that he treats studying seriously. Katsuki also possesses surprising talent in other areas, such as cooking and music, even though he doesn't show a particular interest in them. Overall, Katsuki is considered a natural-born genius with the potential to be one of the best Pro Heroes around.

Season 3[]

Skills/Quirks[]

  • Explosion

Katsuki's Quirk allows him to secrete nitroglycerin-like sweat from the palms of his hands and ignite it on command, allowing him to create strong explosions. The more Katsuki sweats, the stronger his explosions become. If he does overuses this power though, his forearms will start to ache.

Super Moves[]
  • Explosive Speed
Katsuki throws his hands back and uses explosions to propel himself. He uses this both on the ground to increase his speed and through the air to achieve a pseudo form of flight. He first used this technique on the ground during the Quirk Apprehension Test. The first time he used it to fly was during the Obstacle Race.
  • Stun Grenade
Katsuki starts by creating a sphere of light between his hands that explodes into a large scale flash. Similar to the effect of an actual stun grenade, the flash of light blinds anyone close by.
  • Zero Distance Stun Grenade
A variation where Katsuki fires off his Stun Grenade at point-blank range of the opponent to immediately stun and immobilize them with little lasting damage.  This variation was first used against Setsuna in the fourth round of the Joint Training Battle.
  • Howitzer Impact
This move is the strongest move in Katsuki's arsenal, which involves Katsuki taking to the air, and then using explosions to propel himself in a circular motion to create a tornado. This tornado builds up oxygen to fuel the incoming explosion. After colliding with the target, Katsuki releases the powerful aforementioned explosion. Present Mic compared the effectiveness of the technique to that of an actual missile.

Izuku Midoriya/Deku[]

Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, is an up-and-coming hero training to master the One-for-All.

Personality[]

Midoriya is a very timid, reserved, and polite boy, frequently overreacting to abnormal situations with exaggerated expressions. Due to years of being looked down on by Katsuki for lacking a Quirk, he is initially portrayed as insecure, tearful, vulnerable, and non-expressive. However, after being accepted into U.A. High School, making new friends, and facing Bakugo during the Battle Trial, Izuku gradually matures into a more confident and brave person who's always eager to prove his worth as a hero, eventually developing strong leadership skills, which combined with his passion and strategic abilities, have turned him into a central figure within Class 1-A alongside Bakugo

He's quite a diligent and strong-willed student, being extremely (and sometimes scarily) enthusiastic about topics related to heroes. His dream drives him to write down notes about everything he learns in regards to heroes' Quirks and fighting capabilities. Thanks to this practice, Izuku has developed a great analytical mind and can form complex battle plans in a few seconds, factoring in the best ways he can utilize the Quirks of allies and enemies alike for his own advantage.

Izuku externalizes his observations through endless mumbling, a habit that annoys or creeps out his peers. Izuku often writes down his observations in a variety of notebooks he titles as Hero Analysis for the Future, checking on them regularly during school activities or at night. He's also very caring and emotional, never hesitating to help or rescue someone in danger, even if he knows that he might not be strong or qualified enough to do it. Often, he does this on instinct, taking a more careless approach than the usual overthinking he goes through and putting himself on peril in order to protect someone. He's also known to help or lecture people with personal and emotional problems, regardless if it's his business or not, claiming that a hero should meddle in other people's lives.

History[]

Season 2[]
Season 3[]

Skills/Quirks[]

  • One For All

Transferred to him from All Might, Izuku's Quirk allows him to stockpile an enormous amount of raw power, allowing him to significantly enhance all of his physical abilities to a superhuman level. This results in unbelievable levels of strength, speed, agility, and durability.

Super Moves[]
  • Detroit Smash
The same as All Might's move, except Izuku does it in the form of an uppercut or a straight forward punch.
  • Delaware Smash
Izuku flicks his finger to create a powerful wind pressure shock wave that has enough force to break large chunks of ice made by Shoto Todoroki. Due to using this attack at 100%, it fractures the finger, limiting the time he can use this move without gravely injuring himself up to ten times.
  • One For All: Full Cowl
Through his training, Izuku was able to unlock this stage of his power and get better control of his Quirk. This technique allows Izuku to utilize a percentage of the full power of One For All throughout his body, by letting the power course and flow through him instead of concentrating it in one location. According to Izuku, this technique gives him greater maneuverability. Activating this technique gives him enhanced strength, speed, mobility, and agility. It also prevents him from breaking his bones when attacking. The cost of using this technique reduces the damage of how much his attacks do since instead of centering the power into a certain area, Izuku spreads it throughout his body. Izuku has been steadily improving the upper limits of the percentage of One For All that he could safely use with this technique since its creation. Izuku's initial limits at the time of creating the technique only allowed him to utilize 5% of the maximum output. During Izuku's fight against Katsuki after the Provisional Hero License Exam, he further improved this limit to 8%. Since his battle against Kai Chisaki, Izuku was capable of using 20% without breaking his bones. At the start of Izuku's internship with Endeavor, he described his percentage limitations to be in the interval of 10% to 15% of his full power without any extraneous load and had also stated that he could use 20%, but not without causing immense pain that would majorly hinder his mobility in battle. By the start of the Paranormal Liberation War Arc, Izuku improved this limit to 30% with the extraneous usage limit of 45% of his full power.

Minoru Mineta/Grape Juice[]

Minoru Mineta, also known as Grape Juice, is an up-and-coming hero.

Personality[]

Minoru is timid but perverted to the point of infamy, which makes him unpopular with the girls and even some of the boys, who consider his interests and mannerisms depraved. His mind frequently trails off to lewd thoughts, even in situations involving completely unrelated matters. When an opportunity to peep at the girls arises, Minoru becomes very determined to take it, although this often leads to painful results. Minoru's interest in women is one of his motivations to become a hero, alongside general popularity. He is quite unashamed of those traits, openly admitting them out loud.

Minoru can be very hypocritical, criticizing others for perceived perverted behavior, even if they turn out to be nothing more than misunderstandings. Minoru is also one who always speaks his mind, even when it comes off as harsh and insulting due to his comments being more on the cynical side. He also easily freaks out in moments of great stress or fear, acting in an impulsive way, crying when the situation does not look favorable and abusing his Quirk recklessly, to the point of hurting himself in the process. Minoru is not a very confident fighter and may attempt to flee in highly disadvantageous situations whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Season 3[]

Skills/Quirks[]

  • Pop Off

Minoru's Quirk allows him to produce and pluck ball-shaped objects from his head; the balls grow back just as fast as they're plucked. The balls are incredibly sticky and will stick to any surface; the sole exception being Minoru himself, as he just bounces off them. The duration of their adhesive quality is determined by his overall health. He can pull a large amount of these objects from his head; however, if he plucks too many, it will cause him to start bleeding from his scalp.

Momo Yaoyorozu/Creati[]

Momo Yaoyorozu, also known as Creati, is an up-and-coming hero that's able to create almost anything (non-living, that is) from her body. She's also acts as the class vice-president.

Personality[]

Momo is a very prudent, dedicated person who acts as a natural leader. She's generally level-headed and calm in dangerous situations, but she isn't above falling into a panic. Momo can be blunt with her comments about people's mistakes and miscalculations, tending to be very direct, but she only does it because she wants to help her peers improve enough to become great heroes.

Momo typically takes adverse situations in stride, as shown by how she shows little concern for losing most of her clothing in battle, as she knows how to construct another set and would have made her costume even more revealing were it not for restrictions on exposed skin in a costume. However, this often makes others think of her as an exhibitionist. Ironically, she is rather innocent and sensitive to vulgarity and rude mannerisms, constantly frustrated by sexual advancements from Mineta and Bakugo's crude attitude. This innocence shows that she has a somewhat casual, natural view toward nudity, which explains her lack of modesty in her costume.

When passing the time with her friends or helping them, Momo becomes very upbeat and eager. She also tends to accidentally reveal how rich she is, yet most people understand she doesn't do it out of malice. Despite her mature mannerisms, she occasionally finds herself roped into silly situations, although she rarely expresses much enthusiasm in doing so.

History[]

Pre-Series[]
Season 2[]
Season 3[]

Skills/Quirks[]

  • Creation

Momo's Quirk gives her the ability to create any non-living material/object from her exposed skin by transforming the molecular structure of her fat cells. In order to create something, she needs to understand the molecular structure of what she's trying to make. This allows her to create any kind of weapon she can think of, which she can skillfully wield to use against her opponent, for both offensive and defensive purposes. Her primary choices are Bo staffs.

The more she eats, the more material she has to work with, so she needs a considerable food ingestion for her Quirk to be effective. However, it takes her a longer amount of time and more exposed skin to create larger objects, to the point where she forces them through her costume.

Super Moves[]
  • Yaoyorosu's Lucky Bag
Momo creates a large cannon, which can launch a bag full of items. These items can be anything that she can think of through her Quirk.
