Chrisoula is a character from All Purpose Cultural Cat-Girl Nuku Nuku DASH! and is a minor character in Knights of the Multiverse Season 1. She's a Droid created by a church in Paris to spread joy around the city by handing out flowers to make the people's lives a little happier (and help protect it just in case).

Personality[]

Chrisoula is a very cheery child that often speaks about what flowers represent. More than that though, she's one of only a few Droids that believes in the existence of God and Heaven thanks to her being created and raised by a church, and believes that Droids have souls just like humans do. As such, she feels a great connection to her community, and is willing to stand up to "bad men" whenever they should try to threaten her town.

Notes[]

In her home series, Chrisoula was much more of a joke character, with the joke mostly being her spouting off analogies about flowers and their meaning while also carrying around a huge cannon to try and capture/eliminate the titular heroine robot (there's also the fact that the flowers she handed out were meant to be ways for the evil organization of the original series to find Nuku Nuku, wtih each of them having a tracking chip that would change colors once they find its target (yeah, and this was the version of the series that was trying to take itself more seriously)). For her portrayal in KotM, it tries to take her in a bit more of a serious direction (while still highlighting the "jokey-ness" of her main cannon) by taking the (bizarre) idea behind her conception in her home series - that of seeing what happens when her creator fuzed a section from the Holy Bible and a children's story into one (again, this was the version of the Nuku Nuku series that was trying to be more serious) - and make her created by a genuine church, making her on of the few Droid characters that has a "happy" twist compared to everyone else. It even brings up the discussion of religion, and how robots view it. This also serves to help Drum's development, seeing how other Droids "function" in the world and what happens to them when people like the Renegades "interfere" with them.

  • She also tones down her use of flower metaphors, instead only dropping one every so often rather than every other sentence.

In her home series, the character was only referred to as "Flower Girl". So, naturally, KotM actually gives her a name. And to keep it fitting with her theming, the name "Chrisoula" is a Christian name that means ‘golden flower’, which here obviously refers to her golden hair.
