Cham Fau is a character Aura Battler Dunbine and is a major supporting character in The Knights of the Multiverse, introduced in Season 2. She and her twin sister Lilith are a pair of fairies from an unknown, magic-based world that were separated during the Convergence of the Multiverse. Thankfully for Cham though, she would be found by Shinn Asuka, who took her in & has stuck by his side ever since as the two search The Multiverse for the fairy's lost twin.
Personality[]
While Cham tries to help as much as she can, she more often than not finds herself getting trapped in boxes and banging her head against glass windows. But even then, she always tries pull her weight by helping out around any "home" she and Shinn find themselves in wherever she can and trying to help mediate the team's more extreme personalities.

Though she's not a fighter, the Knights designed a specialized normal suit for Cham to protect her better on the battlefield.

Cham is able to channel her own "Aura Power" in order to either channel it to others that can also use "Aura" or use it to help other "Aura" users control it if the power should flare out of control.

Cham is Shinn's main companion/cheerleader, vigorously defending him from enemies and naysayers alike, even among their teammates. She also acts as a teacher of stuff to control his still developing "aura" powers.

Cham's role in this series is meant to mainly be one-for-one as it was in the original Dunbine anime, with her role as Shinn's companion being meant to take the place of her dynamic with her home series' protagonist Shō Zama, as well as both of them coming from Tomino anime.
- This is also mainly why she was chosen as Shinn's partner over his twin sister, as her series deals a lot more in "auras" - or "life energy" - and how they affect the Mecha in this series, which gives Shinn someone to help control of his Newtype abilities he's been given in this series.
Despite their similar appearances and sharing the same voice actress, Cham and Lilith aren't actually twins, since the two originate from two different shows. This similarity has never been fully addressed officially, although it's pretty likely that the staff (a number of who did work on Dunbine) just had a soft spot for the spunky fairy. Their KotM depictions simply make this rather obvious connection... well, a connection. They also help to further the link between Kamille and Shinn themselves.
