Candace Flynn is a character from Phineas and Ferb and is a major character in The Knights of the Multiverse. She uses some of her brothers' old inventions to fight alongside her newfound friends to prove she actually can bust people for stuff they're not supposed to do, acting as sort of a lieutenant commander for the team to Kamille and Sunset's duel-commander status.

Personality[edit | edit source]
In the past, Candace felt as though the entire universe was against her, with her feeling like a tiny, meaningless speck in it that was completely (unintentionally) overshadowed by her brothers and that she wasn't special like them, which manifested in her constantly attempting to bust them for their crazy inventions. But, after all the crazy things she saw/went through last (both of Earth and alien origin), saving the world several times, and especially after being assured by her brothers how much she matters to them, she's knows that she doesn't have to be an island as long as she has friends and family by her side to back her up.
If there's anything she took to heart from her idols, its an utter defiance to give back down to any antagonistic force in her life, as well as an unrelenting determination to overpower them. She's been battered, beaten and broken from all the insanity she had to go through the previous year, going through a depressing failure rate that would have shattered the will of anyone else, yet her efforts never deterred her from her objective. Of course, sometimes this can go to her head and she'll try to take command of a large amount of situations, especially when she's partnered with some of the younger members of the team. But at the end of the day, she's only out to do what's right, and will always be there to help out wherever and whenever she can. She does still have a bad tendency of losing her patience and easily panicking, but she's working on it.
She does sometimes feel as though she's inferior to her friends, since she was just a kid from Danville, while they all either had superpowers of some sort or were really strong androids (and in some cases, androids with superpowers). However, she eventually began to gain more confidence as she continued to fight along side them and proved herself time and time again, and even began to take control of the team as they faced off against even their more treacherous foes.
History[edit | edit source]
Pre-Series[edit | edit source]
When Candace was little, she was really lonely, especially after her father mysteriously vanished, but soon became fascinated by the Allied Robot Corps battles against the Mycenae, Dinosaur & Hinawa Empires and watched all of the news reports cataloguing the events of the war, even Musashi Tomoe's final battle against the Dinosaur Empire in New York. After the end of the Imperial Wars, she still paid close attention to more reports of the Mazinger & Getter teams' heroic ventures.

Abilities & Equipment[edit | edit source]
Most of Candace's equipment comes from recreations of many of her brothers' inventions and other trinkets she picked up over the last summer:
When she joined the Knights full time, Candace once again donned the makeshift armor she got from Meap during their second encounter with Mitch. The basic layout includes a helmet, shoulder pads, and a utility belt.
Candace's helmet is equipped with a special visor that's able to scan up to thirty feet and provides her with a constant stream of information about the surrounding environment or unknown mecha/lifeform. It also has a basic radio communication system.
- Baseball Launcher
Originally just a modified game of baseball created by Phineas & Ferb, Candace is able to use it like a makeshift assault rifle, with its super-fast, remote-controlled baseballs being able to fire as fast as a bullet.
- Super Shoes
A pair of super-powered shoes recreated by Phineas & Ferb that allow Candace to run at incredibly high speeds.
Candace often wears a standard jetpack.
- "Busting Instincts"
A sort of sixth sense as she puts it, Candace is able to somehow "detect" manages to lead her away from her primary objective.
Relationships[edit | edit source]
The Allied Robot Corps was Candace's biggest influence on wanting to be a hero, and was where she learned to value law and order above all else.
Yes, they get under her skin from time to time, and yes, sometimes their good luck compared to hers can seem really unfair, but Phineas and Ferb are still the only brothers Candace has, and she wouldn't trade them for the world.
Candace saw a lot of her old self in the young princess: overshadowed by almost everyone around her, feeling inadequate, and unsure of her place in the world
When the team started to get serious about fighting the forces of evil when they started their "war" with L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N., Amity and Candace would often get into petty squabbles whenever the two were assigned to the same mission, often arguing about who should be calling the shots, mostly just because both were really desperate to show off their worth to the team. This often leads to the group splitting up and just doing the mission their own ways, which often end in failure, though funnily enough, each other's group will often alternate between who saves who when they get into deep trouble.
Catra[edit | edit source]
Though not to the same extent as Amity, Candace finds herself at the end of a good number of Catra's pranks and tricks.
Lake[edit | edit source]
Notes[edit | edit source]
Candace and Pacifica are meant to serve as the Black Widow and Hawkeye of the Knights; the two characters that don't have any special powers (or in this case, don't pilot a mech) but still manage to contribute through their sheer determination and the unique ways they help with the bigger threats. Candace takes Widow's position of the more hands-on type that uses a handful of gadgets to help her complete her missions.
