The RX-02MD Byarlant is a robot from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam and is a mass-produced Mobile Suit featured in Knights of the Multiverse Season 2. Originally created by the Titans Remnants, they were the second Mobile Suits developed to fully implement the Mobile Doll System, and the first to be put into production after the success of their Replica Hambrabi units. However, before they could be used, all of them were taken & subsequently used by Axis Zeon under the supervision of Glemy Toto, where they acted as the Injustice Regime's main fighting force & led to further development of other Mobile Doll-based Mobile Suits & Mobile Armor.

- Particle Cannon
The Byarlant has a pair of mega particle cannons fixed into the palms of its claw hands that act as the suit's sole range weapons.
- Beam Saber
For close-combat, the Byarlant has a pair of beam sabers, one stored in the inner part of each of its elbow, which can be pulled out during battle. The beam sabers' handles have a unique triangular cross-section to match the mobile suit's clawed hands.

The idea of the Byarlant being mass-produced and operated by the Mobile Doll System actually comes from Super Robot Wars Z 2.2, where it was one of several non Gundam Wing Mobile Suits that used the Mobile Doll system, even alongside the Destroy Gundam. And the reason for their inclusion in KotM (aside from being a cool-looking Mobile Suit) is to sort of help Kamille's development and show how far he's come from the Gryps War and the numerous encounters he'd have with the original Mobile Suit's main pilot, his rival Jerid Messa.
