Notes[]

PB's representation in this series is somewhat similar to Pink's with how it gives a twist to her story; except, well, its meant to be the reverse. Whereas Pink's story is meant to take place before the events of the original Steven Universe series to "alleviate" her of the "controversial" choices she made in that series to give her a fresh start, Bonnie's depiction comes from how many people have pointed out how Bubblegum does some absolutely scummy, hypocritical and sometimes downright evil things to her own people and the other denizens of Ooo. So, this version of the character decides to take her at her lowest point, around the time she was thrown out of "office" in the original series, and throw all her misdeeds and prejudices back in her face. This idea is mainly based off of the Teen Titans episode "Troq", with Bonnie's beliefs on magic getting on the magic-based Knights in a very wrong way and treating the Droids much like Val-Yor did Starfire (which is very ironic, given they share voice actresses), though arguably ramped up a little more with her talking smack about the way they... well, live. At the same time though, the episode does leave it up in the air if this version of the character manages to mend her ways and return home.
