Atros is a character from the Iczer Series and is a major character in The Knights of the Multiverse, introduced in Season 1. She's an android created by Dr. Grey of the evil organization L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. to conquer the world, but more importantly, to battle the child Usagi Tsukino (or at the very least, capture her so they could analyze her strange powers). However, after several battles with her, she rebelled against her creator and joined The Knights.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Being born for battle, Atros loves fighting, being extremely ruthless and never hesitating to take the first shot or spare her opponents unless they're forced to back off. She also gets a kick out of taunting her opponents during confrontations, thanks to her mother praising her as her greatest creation, making her think that she's the ultimate android.

However, she's a lot more immature than she thinks she is. Since she was built to be around Usagi's age, she often acts a lot like her "age", like getting pouty when someone gets in the middle of one of her and their duels, or how curious she'll get when she discovers something new. She also refuses to attack unarmed/weak opponents and is very desperate to earn her mother's affection.

Abilities & Equipment[edit | edit source]

  • Flight

Atros is able to fly at incredible speeds, nearly reaching the speed of light, appearing as a streak of yellow light.

  • Enhanced Eyesight

Atros's eyes have special scanners that help to record battle data and study energy sources.

  • Beam Sabers

Atros is armed with two experimental beam sabers based off of those used by the Gundams, both emitting a strong, Photon laser. Even as protoypes, they're surprisingly strong, able to hold back the Zeta Gundam's beam saber and slice through most metals with ease.

  • Photon Beam

Atros can fire Photon Beams from her fists. She can also fire smaller, weaker beams from her fingertips, and even keep it firing like a welding torch.

  • Photon Bomb

Atros is able to charge up her energy in a yellow aura and charges into her opponent at high speeds.

Relationships[edit | edit source]

Dr. Grey[edit | edit source]

As her creator and mother, Atros was desperate to earn Grey's love, and would always try to follow her orders to the letter. However, her respect towards her lessened a lot as she continued to fight, with her "disciplining" her for failed missions, and especially when she found out how she treated Iris.

Epsilon[edit | edit source]

Epsilon is Atros's older sister, and is easily the most important person in her life. Whether it be to congratulate her on a good job she did in a fight or comfort her when their mother punished her for a failed mission or disobeying her orders, she was always there to lend either an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on. However, she did get very annoyed with her when she was first brought online when she started talking to her about taking a less violent approach to life, believing that her aggression would be the only way she could earn her love.

Tobikage[edit | edit source]

Mohm[edit | edit source]

Ana & Yuna[edit | edit source]

Usagi Tsukino[edit | edit source]

As the person she was basically born to fight, Atros and Usagi were bitter rivals for a good chunk of the first season. She'd always try to get the Sailor Guardian trainee to fight her in the middle of one of her missions, and when she infiltrated her school, she started pulling childish pranks for the sole purpose of annoying her. But, much to Atros's surprise, as the two kept encountering each other, the two started to form a bond. She even started to view as.... a friend, leading her to question if she actually hated her.

Emily[edit | edit source]

Ruri Saotome[edit | edit source]

Lorelai Heinrich[edit | edit source]

Rosica & Dr. Bernard[edit | edit source]

Atros didn't much care about Rosica and Dr. Bernard really. She was just given the job of getting the old man back to base and his little wind-up doll was trying to get in the way, nothing more. But, when she saw how Bernard took a laser meant for the android, it caused a strange reaction in her, seeing a human take the shot for his simple creation without hesitation, caused her to reassess how her mother was treating her. She also couldn't help but feel sorry for Rosica when she saw how devastated she was, even telling her she was sorry for it before she left the battlefield.

Notes[edit | edit source]

In her original interpretation, Atros was simply a clone of Adventure! Iczer 3's main character, the titular Iczer 3, and was even killed in the final episode. However, in a twist of fate, this incarnation of Atros is one of the only two Iczers that are actually featured in the series.

Atros and Epsilon's relationship is based off of Atlas & Livian from the 1980 Astro Boy series (and no, it's not just because they have similar names), another pair of robots treated terribly by their creator but find sanctuary in each other. Of course here, it's more so a simple sibling love, whereas Atlas and Livian eventually developed romantic feelings towards one another, especially after being rebuilt into adult forms.
