Android Keiko (or "Keiko Kamikita" as her friends call her) is a major character in The Knights of the Multiverse, introduced in Season 1, made to resemble a character from Invincible Steel Man Zambot 3. She's a Droid created by Dr. G of the L.O.S.R. organization, made in the image of the real Keiko Kamikita of the Zambot Team as a bargaining chip for the real Keiko's mother, Yumiko, to use her Jin family's knowledge to help design for them new Super Robots to help them conquer the world. Through this, she volunteered to pilot the robots her mother helped "create".
However, after a robot that she field-tested - God Sigma - was stolen by the Crystal Knights, she became set on retrieving it. This led her down the path of learning that there was more to life, eventually leading to her joining the Knights and turning against the organization, and then going on to help the group fight other forces of evil.
In total, she piloted God Sigma (as its test pilot), Bismarck, Hiryu, Baxinger, and finally Might Kaiser, which would become her main Mecha.
Personality[]
Keiko's android doppelganger is very close to her original human counterpart in personality, maintaining the original's kind nature and strong conviction to fight. However, this was actually meant to be a simply base-line coding of the original's personality, programmed into her so as to keep her "mother" happy and content as she helped the organization design their fortresses. But while this was originally the case, Keiko grew to develop genuine feelings for her "mother" and wanted to stay with her out of love. She maintains her basis's kind nature and strong conviction to fight, though also maintains her counterpart's emotional vulnerability. This especially comes into conflict when she starts to bond with Asuka and the Knights, realizing that they're genuinely good people.
In battle, Keiko displays a hard-fast seriousness, dedicated to either re-capturing or destroying the God Sigma for making her mother look bad for stealing one of her creations. She's also very intelligent, as she's extremely capable of both flying any Mecha she can control and handling the various weapons in the first go. However, she does let some of her compassion show through even here too, as she doesn't truly want to hurt any of her supposed "enemies" and only attacks them to try and scare them away.
She also has a slight inferiority complex around the human she was based off of, believing that she's just a pathetic copy with another person's face stuck on (which, technically/sadly, she is). However, she is slowly but surely working her way to try and find her own place in the world and make herself a pilot her "sister", the original Zambot team, and especially her mother would be proud of.

Skills & Weapons[]
- Piloting Skills
Though these skills were really just skills programmed into her, Android Keiko is a fully capable pilot, able to pilot any mech suit or ship extremely well. While she was simply programmed with a base-level understanding of how to operate a mech suit, the more Mechs she piloted with all sorts of different features, the greater her piloting abilities grew beyond their base programming.

Relationships[]
The Original Keiko[]
Keiko views her original "basis" as something of an older sister.
Yumiko Kamikita[]
Though she was created to be nothing but a living bargaining chip for her services, Keiko drew close to her "mother" as much as her human original did. Seeing how much Yumiko cared for her, even if she was just a machine with her daughter's face stuck to it, awoke something inside her metal shell.

Cynthia[]
Keiko and Cynthia bonded quickly thanks to their shared histories of being made in the image of another person.
Usagi Tsukino[]
Ayako[]
Though the two don't interact too much in the series proper, Keiko and Ayako are still good friends, as seen by how Ayako was one of the first to befriend her when she first joined the team, and was the first to comfort her after Kappei and Uchuta's android counterparts were destroyed, obviously relating to how she lost her siblings as well.

Notes[]
The idea behind Android Keiko's conception is to mostly give Zambot 3 a bit more exposure in the series, and making them an android duplicate seemed like the best way to do that while maintaining the original Zambot's past already established in the show's history; not to mention giving Keiko herself a bit more focus in some way at least since she had the least amount of focus episodes in the original Zambot anime.
To make her role in the first season at least unique, Keiko's turned into the main Mecha rival of Season 1 ala Char Aznable, though she's mainly only focusing on fighting Asuka and only really fights the Knights' other pilots should they interfere with her personal mission. Though of course rather than the type of rival that fights the heroes for their own sense of pride, but rather the more sentimental type of rival that only fights for an emotional reason. She also uses several robots throughout the season in a fashion similar to Jerid Messa from the Zeta Gundam series, which both serves to show how well she can pilot virtually anything and to help show off more cameos from the Renegades' lineup at once, with her often working alongside one or two other Renegade mechs.
- She isn't meant to appear in the first season as much as Atros, though she is meant to appear in at least six episodes before she joins the Knights to fully establish her character and her dynamic with Asuka.
Keiko is one of the few human-type Droids in the series that has exposed doll-like metal joints on her arms and legs, obviously to help differentiate her from her human base.
